WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Make sure you have all of the information you need before beginning your search.

There is a lot of useful advice in the CRIJ ( Regional Youth Information Centre) guide, on the FNAIM (the national property federation) website and on the ADIL (the regional housing information agency) website.

Don’t forget the Visale guarantee: Action Logement will act as your guarantor for free with Loca-Pass, help you pay your rent if you are in alternating with “Mobili-jeunes” or help you find a place to live and move for work for a private company after you finish your studies !

SERVICED PRIVATE HALLS OF RESIDENCE

Serviced halls of residence are reserved for young professionals and students, offering services tailored to meet the needs of young tenants. Laundrettes and cafeterias can be found in the shared spaces, which can also accommodate individual or group workspaces. Some services are included in the rent.

HABITATS JEUNES

Habitats jeunes (youth accommodation) halls of residence are establishments which rent rooms out to young people between the ages of 16 and 25 (and, in some cases, up to 30) who are in a position of insecurity. Residents sign a rental contract with the manager of the centre, which will stipulate the conditions for admission. The length of stays can be anywhere from a few months to a maximum of 2 years.
