8th Student Welcome Day - JAE - Amiens

The Metropole and the city of Amiens are organizing this welcome day in collaboration with CROUS Amiens Picardie, FAEP and the city's higher education establishments.

The event will take place at Parc de la Hotoie, near the city center, from 8:00 am to 11:30 pm on Thursday, September 14!

PROGRAM OF THE DAY 

• 8:30 a.m.: Breakfast reception for citizen challenge participants
• 9:00 am: Launch of the citizen challenges
• 10:00 am to 5:00 pm: Student life village/association stands (sporting and cultural events, health prevention, road safety, challenges, etc.)
• 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.: Special JAE meal in university restaurants and CROUS food-truck in the student village
• 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.: Institutional time
• 17:00-18:00: Kolor Fun Run
• 6:30pm: Concert doors open
• 7:15pm to 11:00pm: Concerts in an open-air with food court, relaxation area, prevention and sustainable development stands.
• 11:30pm: Doors close

Bring your friends along for some fun running in a fun, friendly environment in the Parc de l'Hotoie!

The concept: a 2km run in a white T-shirt, while volunteers throw green, blue, pink or yellow powder colors at participants.

You don't have to be an athlete, you're just there to have a good time!

Departure from the student village at 5:00 p.m. in the Hotoie Parc
Ends at 6:00 p.m.

Start of the citizen challenges at 9:00 am - Various sites in Amiens

• Blood donor and promotion of blood donation
• Discovering the 3 Armies (Army, Air Force and Navy), raising awareness through various activities
• Installation of the JAE concert - Participation in setting up the public reception area for the JAE concert
• Immersion with the fire department
• Waste collection in the city
• Learn life-saving techniques with Unass and the Red Cross
• Participation in a discovery walk and awareness of "sport handicap" activities
• Workshop on artistic practices and discovery of the MCA
• Creation of seed balls with the zoo
• Fresco workshop - Climate awareness
• In-store food collection
• "Water for life" - Distribution of a questionnaire on water consumption
• Solidarity with Secours Populaire (handing over products)

The student life village brings together the UPJV's student life services, the student associations of the various schools and the facilities available to students.

What's more, you can find fun activities all around the village, as well as at the association stands!

The village is open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
